The conversation around capital in additive manufacturing is shifting. After a period defined by scarcity and uncertainty, investors and industry leaders are now looking toward a more optimistic future, one grounded in realistic valuations and strategic growth.

Where Do Orders Go After Finding Bottom?
After the shallow downturn of the last two years, order activity 鈥� measured both in value and units 鈥� seems to have found a bottom. Comparing the last few months (light green) to recent examples of industry downturns, even when the general economy did not tip into recession, we can see that this is the highest level of order activity that we can characterize as a downturn. The closest example is the short recovery 鈥� and the last soft landing the economy experienced 鈥� following the downturn in 1999 (dark blue).
